Who are we? Our mission.

Defending athletes’ rights.

In this section, we won’t include too much information because it’s best to get to know us through our actions. However, as is customary at the beginning of any relationship, we will introduce ourselves. We are a collective, group, or circle of people united by a common need. Where our expertise is not fully covered, we have established partnerships and collaborations to ensure that our team of volunteers and experts is complete. We collaborate with specialists in the legal, psychological, sports, and management fields, as well as with reputable international institutions and NGOs.

We have faced a multitude of challenges (but also benefits, we admit) that inevitably arise when you want to pursue high-performance sports, or when you simply want to engage in recreational sports, or when you want to set a positive example for your children and encourage them to participate in sports, or just when you want to do sports for the sake of it.

But in this simple yet complex process, we have encountered a series of situations. We asked ourselves… why can’t we do it here, too? We just want to practice sports, nothing more.
But… yes… in an organized and fair environment that also protects our rights… Just like abroad… So, we initiated a civic movement (we thought… should it be an association, a company, an NGO? We just wanted to be heard). And so, we chose the path of founding an Association for the Defense of Athletes. And we set out on this journey.
We wanted it to be called the Romanian Association for the Defense of Athletes’ Rights… because, well… we are Romanian.

Obviously, the fun began. But why Romanian? But why athletes? But why the defense of athletes? Defended from whom? Who are you to speak on this? What expertise do you have? You know that others have tried before you and failed.
Despite all that, we persevered… but we won’t go into further details…

So...

We are committed to going all the way, to making the voices of athletes, coaches, and anyone involved in the sports world heard. We want you to know your rights. We want to not be afraid to say that we are afraid. We want to live well and practice sports in a fair-play environment, free of abuse and discrimination.
